A highly regarded Top 100 UK law firm is looking to appoint a talented Residential Property Associate to join its established London team, acting on some of the most high-value and complex transactions in the market.
This is a standout opportunity to work closely with leading Partners advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and private banks on prime residential property across London and the wider UK.
The Role
You will join a close-knit, high-performing residential property team working directly with senior lawyers on a broad mix of premium transactions.
The work is genuinely high-end and includes:
- Prime central London acquisitions and disposals
- High-value residential property financing
- Acting for both borrowers and lenders (including private and Islamic banks)
- Advising on complex title structures and bespoke transactions
- Supporting UHNW clients on portfolio and investment matters
- Lettings, licences to assign/underlet/alter
- Deeds of variation and private client property matters
- High-volume, time-sensitive transactions requiring precision and pace
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of residential property matters (with supervision where needed)
- Handling sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold) including financing elements
- Advising on and negotiating mortgage and finance documentation
- Acting for lenders, satisfying conditions and liaising with borrower solicitors
- Drafting reports on title, contracts and transaction documents
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Preparing SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Managing completions, statements and file administration
- Handling client onboarding, AML and compliance processes
About You
- 2-4 years PQE with strong residential property experience
- Proven experience handling sales, purchases and secured lending transactions
- Exposure to high-value or prime London work is highly desirable
- Experience working with private banks or Islamic finance structures is advantageous (not essential)
- Strong technical grounding with attention to detail
- Comfortable managing a busy, fast-paced caseload
- Commercially minded with excellent client handling skills
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
