This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a thriving and well-established practice led by highly respected property lawyers with strong reputations across the development, investment and lending sectors.
The firm has grown both organically and through the strategic recruitment of senior lawyers with proven track records of developing client relationships and building successful practices. As a result, they have established an impressive and loyal client base comprising developers, investors, entrepreneurs, lenders and owner-managed businesses.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the firm's Commercial Property Partner and wider property team, you will handle a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters whilst playing an active role in the continued growth and development of the department.
The role offers significant autonomy, direct client contact and the opportunity to work on complex and varied transactions for a sophisticated client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Acting on investment and portfolio transactions
- Managing landlord and tenant matters including leases, renewals, licences and lease restructuring
- Advising developers on site acquisitions and development projects
- Handling asset management work across a range of commercial property assets
- Acting for lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions
- Advising on bridging finance, investment finance and development finance matters
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, legal charges and security documentation
- Conducting title investigations and transaction due diligence
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the team
About You
Applications are welcomed from experienced Commercial Property Solicitors who can demonstrate strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial real estate matters.
You will ideally possess:
- Significant experience handling complex commercial property transactions
- Strong asset management experience
- A solid background advising on secured lending and property finance matters
- The ability to manage transactions independently from instruction through to completion
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- A desire to contribute to the growth and development of a successful team
Candidates with an existing network of contacts, referrers or a demonstrable track record of business development will be particularly attractive, although a following is not essential.
